*More Stimulating Light
The Firefly has mixed-spectrum blue, red and 850 and 940nm near infrared light. It has been shown that blue light stimulates lymph activity, promotes healing of cutaneous injuries (burns, cuts, and contusions) and even helps to combat MRSA. The benefits of 850nm and 940nm near Infrared light include increased ATP production, vasodilation in injured tissues of arteries, lymphatics, and veins, stimulation of stem cells, reduced inflammation, relief of pain, myofascial release, increased delivery of oxygen into the mitochondria, increased production of collagen, and boosts immunity.

*More Penetrating Power
Output power is a very important factor for permeation depth. While lower-powered devices (typically operating in the 500 mW or less range) may benefit cells at the superficial level, they fail to penetrate deeper tissue, which is often the root problem of chronic disease. The Firefly can target tissues deep within the body. More power equates to more photon energy being transmitted to the cells, which also reduces the duration and number of treatments.

With the addition of the F-scan and function generator to the Firefly Clinic Pro model you gain a powerful and accurate new way to obtain issue or health concern frequencies that are then sent to the Firefly to be applied to the client. The F-Scan and Function Generator is used with the Clinic Pro Model to identify bacteria, viruses, parasites and substances in the body. The procedure is quick and non-invasive. 

Frequency information from the scan is used to program the Function Generator which inputs frequency information to the Firefly, allowing a customizable therapy tailored to the patient’s specific health ailments. Each patient will receive a personalized health assessment.

*A Safer Alternative
The Firefly therapy utilizes High-Intensity LED technology which is incoherent light. This is opposite of LASER which is coherent light. Coherent light (LASER) raises many more safety concerns/hazards as the light is concentrated and emitted in a tight beam that does not spread out at a distance from the laser. This means the same degree of hazard can be present both close to and far from the laser which if not conducted properly can cause harm to the patient. The eye can focus a laser beam to a very small, intense spot on its retina, which can result in a burn or blind spot.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT

Firefly Therapy for pain simply requires a short visit and exposing the area of concern. If you have gut or cognitive decline issues, we'll do an FSCAN first. Here's how it works.

1. SCAN
The FSCAN takes just 2 minutes to complete. During the scan, you'll simply sit quietly holding a metal cylinder in one hand and a finger clip will be placed on the other hand. There's no need to disrobe and it's completely painless.

​

2. REVIEW RESULTS
Next, we'll go over what we see and explain what is out of normal range. Then we'll program the Firefly to eliminate these pathogens or parasites and determine a recommended number of treatments. Typically, 3-5 treatments are needed.

3. LIGHT THERAPY
Then, you’ll either lie down or sit in a comfortable position depending on the area that needs attention. Skin needs to be exposed (except on the head - no need for a buzz cut!) but you may need to remove an article of clothing. You'll feel a warm soothing sensation during the session which lasts a maximum of 10 minutes.

4. RESCAN AS NEEDED
Typically, patients FEEL the difference or pass a parasite and know they are doing better, but often with parasites, we want to make sure they're gone so we may suggest another scan. These scans are very affordable.
